About Me

Dr. Batra received his MBBS and MD (Medicine) degrees from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur and then went on to obtain his super speciality degree of DM (Gastroenterology) from the renowned All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. His past work experience includes Director Gastroenterology at BLK Super Speciality Hospital, Senior Consultant Gastroenterology at Batra Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Holy Family Hospital and Pool officer and senior research officer at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. 

His primary area of work is Liver disease, Endoscopy, Inflammatory bowel disease, Pancreatic disease and GI malignancies. 

He is adept in performing GI procedures like Upper and Lower GI endoscopies, diagnostic as well as therapeutic ERCP (both biliary and pancreatic), endoscopic  ultrasound (EUS) and EUS guided procedures like EUS FNA and EUS guided biliary drainage, Upper and Lower GI manometery and motility studies.
